EdTech Tool # 12 – Jamboard

A very cute tool to use via your google account is Jamboard. If you know Padlet you would first think they are similar. But the latter is a more sophisticated version of Jamboard. However, I believe it nicer to use for brainstorming and adding sticky notes. Padlet always structures your posts and does not allow you to put them in a random position.

How do you use it?

  1. You simply create a board
  2. Share the link
  3. and watch how you collaboratively utilize this board and create various media:
    • mindmaps
    • Brainstorming on sticky notes.
    • random writing

Below is an example of a mind-map a have manually sketched while trying to think about why I am doing this blog.
