I always thought immersion technology offers great potential to the learning system. Now this belief is even strong with the emergence of the emergency remote learning. While VR may not substitute real interaction in brick and mortar schools, it is definitely availing in eLearning. Below is a study on all the aspects revolving around VR and eLearning.
Statistics showed that although many teachers have access to VRs – over 80%, only 7% use this technology. This brings up the questions about whether teachers are trained enough to know how to use the tools and if those tools are compatible with the nature of the learning style offered in our current curriculums.
